Privacy Policy
Effective October 1, 2026
This page explains what information this website collects, how I use it, and the choices you have. In short: I collect only what you choose to send me, I use it only to work with you, and I never sell it.
What I collect
When you fill out the intake form, I receive what you enter: your name, email address, phone number, your student’s school and grade, whether you are a parent, student, or someone else, your message, and how you heard about me. If you email or call me directly, I receive your contact details and whatever you choose to share.
Like nearly every website, this site’s hosting provider, Cloudflare, automatically processes basic technical information when you visit, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver pages and protect the site from attacks. This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels, and I do not use this information to identify you.
How I use it
I use your information to reply to you, schedule a free intake, and, if we work together, to provide counseling services. I don’t sell, rent, or trade your information, and I don’t add you to a mailing list without asking.
Who else handles it
Form messages are delivered to my email through Web3Forms, a form-delivery service, and the site is hosted by Cloudflare. Email is handled by Google. These services process information on my behalf so the site and email work. I share information with anyone else only with your permission or if the law requires it.
Students and families I work with
If we work together, I treat everything you share about your student — grades, test scores, essays, and family circumstances — as confidential, consistent with the professional standards of IECA and NACAC. I share it with colleges, schools, or others only as part of the application process and with your consent.
Children
This site is meant for parents, guardians, and students. If your child is under 13, please have a parent or guardian fill out the form instead.
Keeping and deleting information
I keep inquiry information only as long as it’s useful for responding to you or for our work together. You can ask me at any time to see, correct, or delete the information I have about you, and I’ll do so promptly.
Changes and questions
If I change this policy, I’ll update the date at the top of this page. Questions or requests: michaelrobincollegecounseling@gmail.com or (323) 388-3676.
